THE ANCIENT PORVERB

An ancient Arabic proverb say:

He who knows, not and knows not that he knows, is a fool. Shun him

He who knows not, and knows that he know not, is a child. Teach him.

He who knows, and knows not that he knows, is asleep. wake him

He who knows, and knows that he knows, is a wise man. Follow him.

A fine line can be drawn between a wise man and a fool. A Constant fight persist as to which attribute gives more of an advantage to man. Do knowing many things, being wise give more to the person or does being a fool, knowing nothing give the edge? For any person on the outside looking in, it would be an automatic decision made that Yes! There is without a doubt being wise gives more of an advantage to man. But the question is how does a person know that for a fact?
I would say that although being a fool is not very good, having all the knowledge in the world is not the best to have either. What many may not realizes, is that being wise may have its disadvantage while on the flip side being a fool does have some advantage. Even though this is thought by some it is still not reached by many. So to get us thinking about this situation I ask the question to the reader. Which do you think it is best to be, a person that is blind to all things? Or a wise man, who know all? What are the pros and cons? Which position is beneficial to be more of?
